What type of internet connection is recommended to use this Municipal Mapping Website?

What internet browsers are supported by this web's GIS applications?

The applications were designed to be used by Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher. However, the applications can be accessed by other browsers like Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, Opera and Safari. If you are not using IE 7.0+, you might not be able to access the markup capabilities and some other tools, like the “Measure Distance” and “Measure Area” tools. How often is the data contained in this website updated?
Most GIS layers that comprise the Municipal Mapping Website are updated quarterly. Only few GIS layers (like contours, orthophotography, etc) are not updated quarterly and may only be updated on a yearly (or longer) basis.

Are there any software requirements?
